Wills

A Will allows you to choose how you wish your belongings to be distributed after your death. Whether you want to make a Will just for yourself, or to make a mirrored Will with your partner, we can help with any questions you have.

Do I really need a Will?
There is no legal requirement for you to make a Will, but if you were to die without one (intestate) the law would decide who inherits your assets.

You should particularly think about writing a Will if you:

  • Have children

  • Get married, re-married or enter into a civil partnership

  • Get divorced or dissolve a civil partnership (this partially invalidates previous Wills)

  • Are living with a long term partner but are not married or in a civil partnership

  • Are in a second marriage or civil partnership involving step-children

  • Buy property
